The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide Catholic organization of individuals committed to following Christ through service to those in need. Members are called Vincentians, and they show their commitment and devotion to Christ through person-to-person service to the poor and marginalized. Vincentians recognize that the fruit of their labor grows not from themselves, but from God and the poor they serve. As a lay led organization, it is truly a network of individuals committed to the principle of neighbors helping neighbors.

January 19, 2025 - Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the Gospel today, at the wedding feast in Cana, Jesus reveals himself to his disciples, and they begin to believe in him. Every day, God gives us signs of his love, and so we also can respond in faith and trust.

Ms. T is facing significant challenges due to her very limited income. She has fallen behind on her bills and has recently had her electricity shut off. This situation is especially difficult for her because she is unable to work due to a serious health condition. To help her during this tough time, we pledged the minimum amount needed to restore her service. It’s heart-wrenching to hear about her struggles, and we hope this support provided her with some relief.

Your gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul becomes a sign of God’s love to those who are suffering, and you give them reason to believe and to trust.
