Feed-a-Family Easter 2025 was a huge success. Thank you to all parishioners who made contriutions both monetarily and in physical goods as well as all those who volunteered to help with this large project. Thank you especially to co-chairs Nik Lushenko and Linda Parreira, parish and school volunteers and volunteers from Jesuit and St. Francis high schools.

We fed 320 families in the Arden-Arcade area. These families either called into the church for assistance or are families assisted by one of our community partner organizations (Cristo Rey High School, Thomas Edison Language Institute Elementary, UC Davis CAARE Center, Sacramento Children’s Home, Del Paso Manor Elementary and Meadowview Community).

Thank you as well to our supplier Grocery Outlet. They gave us generous pricing on goods unavailable at other retailers which resulted in a $15,000 plus savings for this service project. We are grateful.
